DMCA Policy — Copyright Takedown Procedure

MessyTube.com ("the Site") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement committed using the Site.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content hosted on the Site infringes your copyright, please submit a written notification containing the following information:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work — Describe the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed, or provide a list if multiple works are affected.
2. Identification of the infringing material — Provide the specific URL(s) of the page(s) containing the material you believe infringes your copyright.
3. Your contact information — Include your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
4. A statement of good faith — Include the following statement: "I have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
5. A statement of accuracy — Include the following statement: "The information in this notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the owner, or an agent authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
6. Your signature — Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.

How to Submit

Please send your DMCA notice via our Contact Form. Include "DMCA Takedown Request" in the subject line and provide all of the information listed above. Make sure to include a valid return email address so we can contact you if needed.

Response Time

We aim to process all valid DMCA takedown requests within 24–48 hours of receipt. Upon receiving a compliant notice, we will:

• Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
• Notify the uploader that the content has been removed
• Terminate repeat infringers in accordance with our policies

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification containing:

1. Your name, address, phone number, and email address
2. Identification of the material that was removed and its original location
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district and will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice
5. Your physical or electronic signature

Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA, we have a policy of terminating accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright.
